The Wild Atlantic Way stretches over 2,500km and is the longest defined coastal driving route in the world. It’s positioned as a new visitor experience on Ireland’s west coast.
We designed, developed and launched the official iPhone App and Android App, aiming both at domestic and international markets. The app includes information on 15 Signature Points and 160 further tips on Discovery Points along the Wild Atlantic Way with route, with original video and photography.
Situated on the very edge of Europe, we needed to ensure that visitors could use the app even in the most remote locations without burdening them with expensive roaming costs. I was the Creative Director that lead the project from concept through to creating the user journeys and ‘starter’ designs.
It was my last project working in Huskies and it won an ICAD Bell.
